The Proto k distillery was born in the end of 2003 and soon devote itself to the production of its own stuff.
The band, thanks to the different influences of the components, proposes a sort of Californian punk-rock, with an immediate and simple sound, inspired by bands such as The new found glory, Saves the day and Jimmy eat world.
After a first long time of strengthening, Pkd work gets more and more intense: the coming out of an homonymous auto-produced PROMO CD (feb 2005) and the collaboration of a second guitarist (Nicolò) guarantee live experiences in Italy and Germany. All this stuff flows in an 8 songs EP called “TETRACHORD FOR WATER TROUBLES” for the German label ANTSTREET RECORDS, distributed in Italy by NOREASON RECORDS, out 1st sept. 2006.
Parallel experiences involve the components of the band: Tajsilk (metalcore), Daphne(post-hc), Mecheros (punkrock), Lack of love (post-hc) e Allnothing (metalcore).
